Crossings: Open Source Business Conference is Around the Corner
Open Source Business Conference is Around the Corner

The Open Source Business Conference is just around the corner, the 5th and 6th of April. As noted, OpenXource will be present at the Startup Showcase, and perhaps I'll also setup an off-site reception at some local coffeeshop. If you're in San Francisco and want to meet the guys behind OpenXource and others like yourself, please drop me a line to bob@openxource.com. I know there's a lot of organizations in the Bay Area who are planning on opening some software and even more who are aiming to make their developer-relations programs more robust.

Let me know if you're coming, and your first non-fat extra-dry soy latte is on me. I'll also be in the area for a day or two on either side of the conference, if you would prefer a more private/intense meeting at your office.

Opensource Conference in Europe
Community Co-creation
Developing in the open can provide benefits beyond the value of the intellectual property.
Market-Makers, Supplier Communities, and Micro-Economies
Maybe the middle-man isn't so bad.
Creative Commons for Code
The Creative Commons Open Licenses are very popular for content creators. I predict we will see a lot of opensource code licensed in this manner, and it makes sense!
The What, Why and How of Opensourcing Your Code
